As far as I know, there are no restrictions on foreigners renting apartments in Malaysia. If you come in on a tourist visa, they will probably only give you 3 months; then you would have to go out and reenter the country for another 3 months. I have a nice condo in Penang available for rental. If you are interested in staying there, please contact me.

I dont think there is much restriction especially if you are here for a business visit. I have condo unit good for couple or single in strategy locaton in Petaling Jaya if you are intestested.

are these people for real? Anybody can contact real estate companies and they will do all the work for their clinet so what is their problem?

As far as law is concerned, there is no restriction for you to be here. But, it's a different issue if u come here as a tourist. You cannot stay here if you exceed 3 months. You have to re-enter to continue staying here.

Besides, if u come to Kuching, Sarawak, please do contact me if you want a cheaper, calm & beautiful place to stay. I provide Guesthouse/Bed & Breakfast. This house is situated on the foot of Serapi Mountain & the surrounding is a native village & reserve(virgin) forest. It's a interesting place to go. The rental is between RM30-RM80 per day. Rental cars & jungle tracking also provided.

Apart from that, I'm looking for serious land buyer. The land is situated at Kuching City or known as Satok. The price is RM1.350 million. It's a mixed zone & can be converted into commercial land.

but be careful of some estate agents who are out to fleece foreigners. they rent it to you at 100 per cent above the market value.
