I am looking for a house-to-rent in a quiet area with easy access to the Lumut highway. Apart from Pengkalan/Lahat area which I found to be annoyingly dusty, does anyone know other suitable areas?

Another option that I am considering is a condo -damai puri or raya something near the airport, problem is these units seemed to be rented furnished and I prefer my own furniture. Are there other condos in the Ipoh area? I am moving to Ipoh soon but does not have much time to travel to Ipoh and scout around.

Be frank i'm not really good in Ipoh area although i was born there.

I did visit my auntie house few months back. Maybe you should try look at Simpang Pulai area.

I think is not really far from Lumut Highway.

It's quite far and the road is windy with many heavy vehicles using it. Thanks for the suggestion.

what about near menglembu side or near by the bukit merah.

When we travel to Ipoh and stay with our relatives in the Pengkalan area we don't find it dusty whatsoever. Our relatives moved from Desa Pengkalan a little further inside to where the display homes are located, quite and easy area to get into and around.

Menggelembu seems like a good option, but the road to Bukit Merah was quite filthy last year. I didn't quite reach the housing area. If you didn't find pengkalan dusty, it's because someone else did the cleaning.
