For those of you who are seriously interested in one of PJ's most premium condo, SDB will be launching its next Five Stones block within the next two weeks.

From what I heard, SDB is highly reputable because of their quality product and that had enabled them to sell 80% in a week or two during their first launch of their first block for Five Stone.

Then again, it's a prime location. You can walk to SS2 square from there. So, who cares about the price if you're getting really good quality product, right?

Differing opinions? Other good points? etc.? Please advise.

In my humble opinion, I think the new launch at RM 1 Mil per unit @ 2000 square feet is rather steep. at RM 1 Million, I can top-up RM200k to buy a dsl at award-winning Desa Park City (the best planned mix development in msia).

Fronting the condominiums, are double storey terrace houses built almost 30 years ago. At a width of 25 x 85, 25 x 75 length, with build up area of 2500 square feet and above, these are better buys compared to the condominiums. It is landed by the way, and don't need to pay for maintenance fee. It will costs me only RM650,000 for a unit there. Or if i can extend to RM800,000, I can get a landed double storey terrace at BU.

However, i think living at high rise condos is different from living at landed properties. I personally like to live at high rise condos for the views, breeze, natural lighting and facilities. But again, For money-to-value-ratio, I still prefer to invest that money in landed DSL instead.

SSTwo Mall is coming up, just next to it, and the completion of the access road from Rothman roundabout to 5 stones (supposedly to serve the mall, but can be used as a service road), is an added point. It has helped ease the traffic congestion at ss2/24, and ease some residence of the daily traffic that goes through their housing areas.

Perhaps, RM800,000 I can get a condo unit at BU (under construction)(better planned township and traffic.

Anyway, just my personal opinion. Others might differ. Cheers

Great comment Kim Keong! I was thinking precisely the same thing! I like BU9 a lot more. (I liked BU1 a lot as well)
The only thing is, for BU9 the Mutiara Damansara side will have major traffic issues going towards the Curve/Ikea, etc.
