You may be disappointed to know that an agreement
is made when both the vendor and the purchaser have
mutually agreed to the same terms and conditions to
be legally bound accordingly in fulfilling the obligations
and responsibilities therein.

So, this is not about adding, retracting or altering names alone
which cannot be unilaterally contemplated by either one party.

You can add a name into the land title instead of S&P.

It's best if you go to land office and ask.

Don't go to lawyer because it is wasting your money.

Imagine asking someone to reap what he has not sow.

Are you experienced in doing such thing ?

Maybe you are the 'land office' to approve by adding your name
on anyone's title.

Cannot appreciate how some people can thank a nobody
for a farting comment that don't even sound right !

You just don't ADD a name as you wish on the title !

Check the land law if you wish.

Hi Raymond,

Nothing to be mad at and u don't have to be harsh. I have totally no idea what to do and I am open to any answer that given. John is just a person who trying to help although his comment not 100% accurate.

So, do u have an answer for my question? What are the steps that I need to do? Maybe it is not just "add name" in proper law terms, but my purpose is just want to wife to be owner of the property too.

Thanks.

If you wish to put your wife's name on your property, then,
you must declare this is a matrimonial home where the purchase
is made in the joint names with your wife.

Unless and until this is done, nothing can change this fact.

However, the choice is not compulsory but the tasks will include
making such a statutory declaration.

In other words, you have to resort to family law provisions before
your wife's name can be included in the property.

You can check with the bank for valuation,
since the assessment fo stamp duty by LHDN on the adjudication
fees will still require this valuation be done first.
