The rental market in Damansara Heights has not been so encouraging for the past 14 months. Many home owners are seeking tenants & have revised their rental to more reasonable rates. However I heard from friends who are in the rental business that the number of expatriates looking for homes here have increased in the past 2 months. Hopefully this trend will continue in the months to come.

One must bear in mind though that expats are now every more discerning and in some instances question the need to be in what is considered, the traditional expat enclave. More and more are opting out of the kwailow ghettos to
1) assimilate a little more with the kwailows
2) get the best bang for theri buck in terms of noveau areas that have that "home away from home" feel for them
3) somewhere where security is not merely a "nice-to-have-just-experimenting-with-makeshift guardhouse-and-hope-it-works" type developments
