Durian Tunggal

Durian Tunggal is a district located in Alor Gajah district, Malacca, three kilometre from Tol Air Keroh. Found major water reservoir located 3 kilometres from Durian Tunggal town headed for Selandar, Jasin. This pool was ever dry in 80s year. We can found bird park located in field village yam. We also can found railway container here which connects Sebang Pulau and Malacca. However railway track already gone bridge but a few train across still evident river appeared until today. There is a plan from KTMB to revive this expected route.

Located about 16 kilometers from town, Durian Tunggal Recreation Lake is popular among locals and tourists alike. You can go boating, fishing or even windsurfing. If you intend to stay a day or two, take advantage of the camping area that's been provided. Other facilities found here include jogging paths, a merry-go-round and a children's playground. For nourishment, there is a refreshment kiosk located nearby.
