Maran is a small town in a district between Temerloh and Kuantan in Pahang, Malaysia which is surrounded by isolated forest and oil palm plantations.
This amenity forest located 2km from Bandar Maran and 50km from Temerloh and was constituted in year 1985. This area is visited by visitor because it famous with the waterfall and cold river. It sits in logged forest. Found about 1,000 visitors come to call hitherward within one month in school holidays season and weekend. Those facilities has prepared including road, hut, bench, cloud toilet, dressing room, bridge, dam and concrete ladder which required maintenance.
Lubuk Yu is a picnic site which most ideal for all family. The water is not so rapid so that Lubuk Yu is the most likeable waterfall by Maran population. It is a calm area and filled with refreshing flora.
