
Looking forward to buy a cluster house in Johor recently, however was call off the deal when the bank only willing to loan 50% to foreigner. I repeatedly request the banker to get me my$300k loan (58%) as a round off. but finally, the bank only willing to loan me $250k. I can fork out another my$50k, however, I choose not to & I am glad not to, as explain by another banker from
a different bank.
For my$500k, you can get a semi-d, why settle for a cluster. The MALAYSIA GOVERNMENT & the BANK
DOES NOT recognize the recent surge in appreciation of housing price. The government need to take
care of the lower income too. So, more low cost units will be build, understands that the respond
in take-up rate is disappointing. The land in JB is huge, big, plenty. The property market now
is \"willing sellers, willing buyers for properties above my$500k\". Right now, I think rent at
a lower end house does makes sense. Who knows, one day my$500k can buy a bungalow.
