you have to source around. it is wise to get references and quotes. expensive does not equal to good and vice versa. shop shop shop. do not rush lest you be taken for an expensive ride.

Its tough to get a trustable contractor nowadays. A good contractor can be ur best fren but a louzy contractor can become ur worst nitemare.... Anyway, good contractor come with a price. Cheap contractor always give u more headache and normally end up paying more for remedial works to be done by other contractors. So don't always go for the cheapest among all other contractors u invited. Good contractors always provide good suggestions on how to save money and at the same time getting what u want. Instead of always asking you what u want without giving any ideas and professional advices. Ofcos budgeting is everything for a house renovation work but I rather spend slightly more for a more professional contractor than going for cheap & louzy contractor. LNS2u

I agree with Mr. Gary, however, its been over a year already on the query of Mr. Star Adams, i guess he already finished his planned house renovation...
