I am an avid property investor myself, and would just like to get the tips/opinions of fellow property investors or real estate agents. Looking for an investment property in KL, I am quite intrigued by the new development of The Elements at Ampang and The Icon City at Petaling Jaya, and considering purchasing a unit there.
What are your thoughts on the above two property developments, in terms of the development itself, the location, and the upside price potential? Yes, I already know about the mishaps of Mayland with Sri Putramas, so let's not get into that. Tell me something I don't know or should know.
My opinion: The Elements at Ampang is a great buy, even with the higher pricing, while not so bullish on The Icon City.
What are your thoughts on the supply/demand balance in KLCC area? We well aware with the development of new units coming into the market in KLCC, we expect a surge in supplies of properties in KLCC. Do you believe that demand
will be able to cushion the supplies, and thus support the prces?
My opinion: Despite the global financial crisis and supply conditions in KLCC, I am still bullish on prices and demand in KLCC, but not in the outer parts such as Selangor or Negeri Sembilan.
