Foreigners are allowed to buy completed properties more than RM350k in Johor. This is the state rule. Unless it's off-the-plan, then RM250k is applicable.

I bought a studio unit of Sri Samudera Residence, nearby Hyatt Regency which is a prime location and 5 mins drive to Danga Bay. Another at Prima Regency @ Plentong.
Only studio units can fetch up to 10%. If 2 bedrooms or 3 bedrooms, i'm afraid the rental yield will be below 7% pa.
