Hi,

Well, if you do meant that you want to pay monthly installment of RM 1,500 monthly for 20 years of tenure, the loan amount that you can fo for is approximately RM 245k.

Considering RM 245k is 90% of Margin, then the property price range that you can buy is around RM 272k.

Hope will help you out.

Thanks

hi there, there's a few thing that I hope you can share with me:
1- My gross salary is around $8000 p/month,
and my take home is around $6600.
2- Now, I got to pay for 2 cars inst.($870 & $680)and house $680.
my car($870)last payment will be on 9/2011.
The ? is,how much will the bank lend me(say around 20 years),
considering that I've sold the house.
Is the 1/3 of my salary inclusive of car & housing loan?

Hi,

Different bank will hv their own standards and requirements for the commitment level.
For your case, to be on the safe side you can purchase a property which is less than 600k.
If your total commitments are less than 50%, getting a loan will not be problem.(provided with nice payment history)

If more than that certain banks might not approved.
I deal with most of the banks. Feel free to contact me if you need any assistance.

Thanks.

Hi,

1/3 of your salary as your housing loan installment is a nice benchmark for those who wish to know whether they eligible for loan or not.
More than that will depend on how strong your profile is and your commitment level.
Thanks.
