It is also good to make a comparison between property prices when they are first launched, and when they are sold in the sub-sale market (to measure appreciation - but not necessarily reliable).
Attending property events are good too. We can see development launches, and there are speakers too sharing trends. Last month was good. I attended the iProperty expo at KL Conv Ctr. There were speakers talking on tax, legal issues, hotspots and others. Link is here to show what I mean.
