What property and which area do you sell?For leasehold property, normally we need a consent.However, the 10% can be either keep buy the lawyer if both buyer and purchaser is agree with it..But, if you not willing to do so, you have the right to get the 10% first as this normally is the process after signing SnP.
The lawyer is the purchaser lawyer or your own lawyer?Do you have your own lawyer?Normally the 'purchaser lawyer will have such condition to protect his purchaser. However, you can ask them for the 10% first if you need the money cos you do not know how long they need to take for the consent and in case it is fail to transfer the consent, only you give back the money to your purchaser.
