The first question: I want to rent out a condo.
What happens if have an agent working for me - and we agree I can find a tenant myself with or without another agent -, and that agent does not find a tenant.
Meanwhile another agent comes - who has been looking for a rental place for his client, the prospective tenant - and that second agent now organises with me the tenancy agreement, stamping etc. for his client, who I take as a tenant.
Who would I have to pay?
1. Nobody. Because the agent working for me did not find a tenant and I am allowed to find my own tenant. And the second agent has not been working for me but for the tenant.
2. The second agent. Because he brought the tenant and did the tenancy agreement etc. and the tenant does not need to pay (why?).
3. Both agents?
The next question: The tenancy agreement is valid for 1 year but can be renewed.
Do I need to pay anybody anything for the renewal? I hope not.
