|NAZA TTDI was incorporated on 10 March 1973 under the name UDA SEA Park Development Sdn Bhd. On 22 May 1984, the company changed its name to TTDI-S.E.A. Park Development Sdn Bhd and subsequently to TTDI Development Sdn Bhd on 20 February 1990. Its past major shareholders were UDA SEA Park Sdn Bhd, UDA, Peremba Bhd and Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB). In 2001, Danaharta acquired TTDI from PNB to assist in the management of its huge property portfolio. In 2004, current shareholder Ekspedisi Nikmat Sdn Bhd helmed by our late Chairman Tan Sri Dato' Seri Utama SM Nasimuddin SM Amin, acquired TTDI from Danaharta. TTDI is now the main property arm of the NAZA Group of Companies. TTDI Development changed its name to NAZA TTDI Sdn Bhd on 11 March 2008 to reflect its association with the NAZA Group.
NAZA TTDI is known for the development of the acclaimed township of Taman Tun Dr Ismail in Kuala Lumpur, which was the Group’s first property development. Over the years, our development activities in Taman Tun Dr Ismail include both residential and commercial developments. The development commenced in 1973 and to-date over 6,500 units of both categories were completed, the latest being The Residence Condominium and the condominium cum commercial development Plaza TTDI, both of which were completed in April 2006 and December 2006 respectively generating a sales value of RM1.3 billion. Taman Tun Dr Ismail was also awarded with the FIABCI Award of Distinction for Residential Property in 1994.
Between 1984 and 1990, following our smart partnerships with various Government agencies, such as Kuala Lumpur City Hall and the Federal Territory Ministry, we spearheaded the Desa Pandan squatters’ resettlement and re-housing projects involving 1,700 families totaling 8,500 people. This mixed development comprised a total of 3,478 units of which 1,920 units were for low and low medium cost apartments. Public amenities that were provided under the development included police station, sports complex, primary school, kindergarten and hawkers centre. The resettlement and re-housing projects brought about a better quality of life and living conditions for the former squatters. NAZA TTDI had successfully transformed a squatter settlement at Kampung Pandan, Kuala Lumpur into what is now the modern vibrant township of Desa Pandan
NAZA TTDI was also involved in the development of over 500 acres of land at TTDI Jaya and Section 13 in Shah Alam, Selangor. It successfully managed the completion of the Giant hypermarket in Section 13, Shah Alam within a record six (6) months. In addition, as a result of the joint venture with Majlis Sukan Negeri Selangor on the development of certain areas in Section 13, Shah Alam, it had constructed the Shah Alam Malawati Indoor Stadium in 1998 for the Commonwealth Games boxing event.
NAZA TTDI's recent projects included the well received up market semi-detached residences and bungalows named "Laman Seri“ and a commercial development known as “Laman Seri Business Park” in section 13, Shah Alam and Jayamas II comprising 26 units of shop offices in TTDI Jaya, Shah Alam. These projects were well received by the public and many purchasers were repeat buyers, a testimony of their faith and confidence in NAZA TTDI.
Moving forward, NAZA TTDI has prepared itself for several high impact projects, namely the development of Platinum Park, comprising seven (7) majestic towers, (namely three (3) high-end condominium towers with a total of 287 units, three (3) grade A office towers and a 5-star serviced apartment tower located at Kuala Lumpur City Centre), The Valley TTDI, (which comprises 134 units of bungalows and semi-detached houses situated in Ampang, Selangor) and TTDI Alam Impian, a 200 acres township development in section 35, Shah Alam.
NAZA TTDI has always been committed to quality and meeting clients' requirements. The company obtained the MS ISO 9002:1994 Certification in 1998 which was successfully upgraded to MS ISO 9001:2000 Certification in 2004 and renewed in 2007. With a good development track record and sound fundamentals, NAZA TTDI prides itself as a customer-driven developer and has always delivered its projects ahead of schedule. TTDI's quality products are highly sought after and they resulted in substantial capital appreciation over time.
Since inception, NAZA TTDI had successfully completed more than 14,000 residential and commercial units. The Group has an accumulated total land bank of approximately 484 acres.
